Safety Pairing. Connected TUGU
[Golden Times = Reporter Min-Hwan Jo] Asgard Co., Ltd. has participated in the '2025 ASEAN Comprehensive Product Trade Mission' and has begun to make full-fledged inroads into the Vietnamese and Thai markets.
This trade mission was held in the form of 1:1 export consultations in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Bangkok, Thailand from May 12 to 16, and was co-hosted by Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province Economic and Science Promotion Agency, and KOTRA.
Asguard Corporation introduced its flagship product, the integrated smart safety helmet 'TUGU', to local buyers and presented safety solutions specialized for industrial sites in Southeast Asia.
TUGU is an industrial protective equipment that integrates smart functions such as shock sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, black boxes, automatic lanterns, and dual radios, and is an integrated platform that supports everything from accident prevention to response and aftercare.
Asguard Corporation signed a business agreement (MOU) with local key distributors THIEN NHAN TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT and BAO NGHI GROUP JOINT STOCK COMPANY through the 2025 ASEAN Comprehensive Product Trade Mission.
The two companies are major players in Vietnam's industrial safety sector, supplying protective equipment to power plants, transportation infrastructure, and marine projects, respectively.
In particular, THIEN NHAN supplies 800,000 to 1 million Japanese safety helmets annually to Vietnam Electricity Corporation (EVN), and is also the distributor of Korean voltage equipment maintenance solutions.
BAO NGHI GROUP is an importer and distributor of PPE and firefighting equipment, and has experience in securing large-scale infrastructure orders.
Asguard Corporation and local partners plan to gradually pursue ▲acquiring local certification ▲on-site verification testing ▲developing localized functions ▲joint marketing, etc.
Asguard CEO Kim Ung-bae said, “Vietnam is a key base for ASEAN economic cooperation, and Thailand is a strategic market centered on manufacturing. TUGU will position itself as a ‘safety partner in the field’ beyond a simple product,” adding, “Based on the philosophy that technology protects life, we will present new global industrial safety standards.”
Meanwhile, Asguard is preparing to expand into global markets, starting with the Southeast Asian market, followed by Europe, the Middle East, and South America.
